Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and solutions
- Conduct routine custodial tasks such as dusting, trash removal, window washing, and surface disinfecting
- Operate floor care equipment including buffers and polishers to maintain high standards of cleanliness
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs, painting touch-ups, and equipment upkeep when needed
- Follow safety procedures during all cleaning activities to ensure a hazard-free environment
- Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and notify management when supplies need replenishing
- Support industrial cleaning projects or specialized cleaning tasks as required for large or complex spaces
Experience
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings preferred
- Knowledge of various cleaning techniques, including floor care and buffing
- Experience with facilities maintenance or residential painting is a plus
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning equipment and safety protocols
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality standards
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure thorough cleanliness across all areas
