Trailer Mechanic / Welder – No Weekends!
Appleton, WI | Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
If you’re a skilled trailer mechanic who knows how to weld and fabricate, we want you on our team.
Fabel Repair & Collision Center is hiring an experienced Trailer Mechanic/Welder for our new trailer repair facility in Appleton. This isn’t an assembly-line dealership environment. You’ll work on a variety of semi-trailers, tackle real repairs, fabricate solutions, and have the opportunity to use the full range of your mechanical and welding skills.

What You’ll Do
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain semi-trailers and related equipment
- Perform welding, fabrication, and structural repairs
- Repair and service brakes, suspension, electrical systems, doors, floors, landing gear, and other trailer components
- Complete preventive maintenance and detailed inspections
- Troubleshoot problems and determine the right repair — not just replace parts
- Document repairs with accurate service records and clear job stories
- Maintain high standards for safety, workmanship, and quality
- Work alongside an experienced team to keep customers' equipment on the road
What We’re Looking For
- 3 years of trailer repair or related mechanical experience
- Strong welding and fabrication skills
- Mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostic ability
- Your own tools
- Valid driver’s license
- CDL is helpful, but not required
- Technical diploma or related training is a plus
- Someone who takes pride in doing the job right the first time
