DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Effectively communicate with technicians, foreman and parts department
- Be able to explain to customers diagnostic processes and articulate how various heavy duty truck and/or RV systems work
- Perform excellent customer relationships and communication skills
- Familiarity with repair management portals such as Holman, Auto Integrate, Penske, etc
- Oversee shop and technicians when needed- will not be on the floor
- Play a leading role in implementing and promoting workplace safety and professionalism
- Demonstrate a positive work attitude in a team atmosphere
- May perform other duties as assigned
- Must be able to perform estimates
- Assist in managing a daily schedule and meeting or exceeding customer expectations
- Have the ability to problem solve under pressure and think outside of the box
QUALIFICATIONS (Education & Essential Work Experience):
- Grade 12 graduate
- Valid driver's license- CDL is desired but not required
- Knowledge and experience in heavy duty trucks
- Experience with shop safety and safe shop work practices
- Computer keyboarding skills and basic understanding of computers
- Proven Organizational skills
- Strong Customer Service Skills
- Strong Attention to Detail Skills
