Job Summary:
FABco is seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a clean driving record, a current Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), and the ability to operate a Daycab with a 40-48 ft flatbed trailer. This role primarily involves local, short-haul deliveries with secure freight that does not require drivers to load or unload.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a Daycab with a 40-48 ft flatbed trailer safely and efficiently.
• Transport secured freight to and from designated locations and the surrounding area.
• Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the truck is in good working condition.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and hours of service.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
• Ensure loads are properly secured for safe transport.
• Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries.

Requirements:

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Clean driving record with no major violations.
• Ability to operate a Daycab with a 40-48 ft flatbed trailer.
• Minimum of 3 years of commercial driving experience (preferred).
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance requirements.
• Ability to work Monday-Friday with occasional overtime as needed.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Schedule & Compensation:

• Monday through Friday schedule with occasional overtime based on business needs.
• Local and regional short-haul deliveries with no expected overnight travel.
• Drivers will not be responsible for loading or unloading freight.
• Pay is commensurate with experience.
