What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Programmer position at Fab Werks Inc.?
- Ability to work with 3D (SolidWorks) and 2D (AutoCAD) to engineer laser cut parts for manufacturing and ensuring the production of high-quality finished parts.
- Interpret customer-supplied drawings with keen attention to requirements, tolerances, and notes.
- Reverse engineer parts for manufacturing.
- Utilize Work Orders, drawings, written and verbal instructions to determine job requirements.
- Program and maintain current file revisions of all client parts.
- Adjustments to drawings based on revisions, tolerances, and operator feedback.
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections to verify compliance with specifications as needed.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a programming position.
- Experience with Mazak Lasers and Nesting Software (SigmaNest) is a plus.
- Knowledge of Laser Cutting, Press Brakes and Welding preferred.
- Must be dependable, on time and ready to work.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adjust quickly to changing priorities.
