This position will be responsible for both our Florida and California employees. You will join a team of five HR colleagues in North America but a larger team of 60 HR colleagues worldwide!As a Sr. Human Resources Generalist, you will play a critical role in supporting our HR operations and ensuring the well-being and satisfaction of our employees at FAAC International, Inc. You will be responsible for managing various aspects of HR, including unemployment claims, Workers Compensation, Benefits administration, and payroll processing.This is a fast-paced environment, and this position requires a high level of commitment and flexibility, including the ability to work extended hours when needed. This role also requires a proactive communicator with high attention to detail.Key Responsibilities:Payroll Processing· Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing via ADP Workforce Now. Address employee payroll-related inquiries and discrepancies.· Help manage benefits enrollment and maintain benefits records for employees.HR Compliance· Stay up to date with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Ensure company policies and procedures are in compliance.· Maintain and optimize HRIS records and generate detailed HR-related reports and metrics (e.g., time to hire, employee turnover) to support strategic decision-making.· Participate in accident investigations, ensure compliance with federal and state safety regulations, and assist in managing Workers' Compensation claims.Data Management· Maintain accurate and confidential HR records and documentation, including employee files, attendance, and timekeeping.Recruitment & Onboarding· Lead recruitment efforts by posting job openings, reviewing resumes, conducting interviews, and extending job offers.· Manage the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring they are set up for success and understand the company’s culture, policies, and benefits through a comprehensive onboarding program.· Interface with external recruitment agencies and temporary staffing providers as needed.Employee Relations· Foster a positive work environment by addressing employee concerns, conflicts, and grievances in a professional and timely manner.· Advise employees on HR policies, procedures, benefits, and compensation.Other duties as assigned. Human Resources Generalist Qualifications· Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field or 3-5 years’ experience in Human Resources in lieu of degree.· SHRM-CP or PHR certification (preferred)· Employee Relations: Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills, with experience handling sensitive employee relations issues discreetly and effectively.· HR Policy Development: Demonstrated ability in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.· Regulatory Compliance: Experience ensuring compliance to federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, especially as applicable to remote workforces across multiple states.· Benefits Administration: Experience in managing employee benefits programs, including annual benefits selection and administration.· Experience Running Payroll: Hands-on experience with payroll processing through ADP Workforce Now, including handling variable compensation and ensuring accuracy.· Proficiency with Spreadsheets: Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel or similar tools.· Basic Accounting Knowledge: Understanding of income statement, balance sheet, and general ledger.· Microsoft Office 365 Skills: Proficiency in using Office 365 applications beyond Excel, such as PowerPoint for presentations and SharePoint for document management.Company DescriptionFounded in 1965, FAAC SpA and its subsidiaries (FAAC Technologies) are companies operating to improve the quality of life and safety of their customers, simplifying and automating daily actions through innovative and functional devices for vehicular and pedestrian access automation and control, for residential, commercial and industrial use, as well as turnkey parking solutions.Operating from our Headquarters in Bologna, Italy, FAAC Technologies is today a large international industrial group and a global leader in the industry with more than 3.600 people employed in 5 continents and 29 countries.
