Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Food Truck Staff to join our dynamic team At Rainier Pizza Co. This role involves preparing and serving food in a fast-paced environment, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation. Ideal candidates will have experience in food service, POS systems, and a passion for delivering a memorable dining experience. The position offers opportunities to develop culinary skills and gain valuable experience in the food industry all while on a wood fire oven.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble menu items efficiently while adhering to quality standards
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and payments
- Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items
- Maintain cleanliness of the food truck, including sanitation, bussing tables, and food handling procedures
- Ensure food safety standards are consistently met in accordance with health regulations
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
- Support team members in various tasks to ensure smooth daily operations
Qualifications
- Over 18 years old,
- Previous experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or retail food environments is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Willing to learn and help achieve company goals
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Experience with food preparation, serving, bussing, and general kitchen operations is desirable
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings if required.

- Prior restaurant or café experience will be considered an asset but not a must.
