Electrician

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team, responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various construction and industrial sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical work, including both low and high voltage systems, with experience reading schematics and blueprints. This role requires a detail-oriented professional capable of working on construction sites, utilizing hand tools and power tools, and adhering to safety standards such as NEC regulations. The Electrician will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems in diverse environments.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment according to blueprints and schematics
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to complete electrical installations accurately
• Use hand tools, power tools, ammeters, ohmmeters, and other testing devices to diagnose electrical issues
• Ensure all work complies with NEC standards and safety regulations for low and high voltage systems
• Work on construction sites performing wiring for commercial or industrial projects
• Collaborate with other trades such as frame carpentry or construction teams to coordinate project tasks
• Maintain detailed records of work performed and materials used
• Adhere to all safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment

Experience

• Proven experience as an electrician in industrial or commercial settings
• Familiarity with construction site procedures and safety standards
• Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
• Skilled in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, as well as power tools like drills and saws
• Knowledge of low voltage wiring as well as high voltage systems
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments
• Prior experience with construction projects involving frame carpentry is a plus
• Strong understanding of NEC regulations and electrical codes
