About The Job
The Logistics and Inventory Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the flow of materials, products, and supplies throughout the organization to our 3PL and for all final mile deliveries. This role ensures accurate inventory shipment planning, efficient logistics operations, and timely delivery of goods. The coordinator works closely with other members within the supply chain team, warehouse staff, vendors, and internal departments to support operational efficiency and franchisee satisfaction.

About The Job
The Logistics and Inventory Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the flow of materials, products, and supplies throughout the organization to our 3PL and for all final mile deliveries. This role ensures accurate inventory shipment planning, efficient logistics operations, and timely delivery of goods. The coordinator works closely with other members within the supply chain team, warehouse staff, vendors, and internal departments to support operational efficiency and franchisee satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Inventory Control and Shipment Planning
- Assisting with shipment plans and coordination of inbound international and domestic inventory and obtaining quotes
- Maintain freight rate cards and monitor rates on a monthly basis
- Obtaining monthly reports from the warehouses to assist with inventory control
- Work with warehouse teams to ensure proper receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods
- Maintain organized warehouse processes and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Assist in developing and implementing inventory control procedures including cycle counts
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments, including scheduling, tracking, and documentation for both domestic and international freight
- Communicate with carriers, freight forwarders, and vendors to resolve delivery issues or delays.
- Optimize shipment routes and methods to reduce costs and improve efficiency
- Ensure compliance with shipping regulations, customs requirements, and company policies
- Serve as the liaison between suppliers, warehouse operations, internal departments for logistics matters
- Resolve inventory or logistics-related issues promptly
- Support with monitoring and escalating changes in lead time updates, stock availability, and supplier performance tracking
- Escalating major logistical or inventory issues to the Director of Supply Chain
- Ad hoc support may be required with other tasks or projects. Ie. support, procurement, reporting and analysis etc
- Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, inventory control, or warehouse coordination
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
- Proficiency with inventory management or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Oracle etc.)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Knowledge of shipping regulations and logistics best practices
- Strong attention to detail with data and in the organization and execution of tasks
- Process oriented with excellent follow-through skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple departments across different concepts
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize workload without supervision under tight deadlines
