PRODUCTION TECHNICIAN

Job Summary 

As a Production Technician, you will be an essential part of Fischer Homes’ construction process as you produce and maintain construction documentation in a BIM environment. In this role, you will coordinate documents required for permit and construction ensuring that superintendents have materials, labor, and accurate plans to complete homes. These skills will be used to:  

• Produce plans and construct details accurately, timely, and within Fischer Homes standards.  
• Deliver complete and accurate drawing set(s), and coordinate documents required for the building permit process to the Permit Department. 
• Provide details of recurring issues and problems to appropriate departments to proactively solve future problems.  
• Demonstrate creativity by finding new and/or better solutions, within Fischer Homes guidelines, to new or recurring problems. 

Preferred Qualifications 

• Revit experience highly preferred 
• Working knowledge of Excel and Data Analysis 

Physical demands and work environment: 

• Must be able to use sensory skills (i.e. verbal communication) to effectively communicate and interact with other Associates and customers. 
• Must be able to perform repetitive motions and use fine motor skills (i.e. typing, writing) to operate office supplies (i.e. computer, calculator, copier). 
• Must be able to lift and carry approximately 20-25lbs unassisted. 
• Must be able to sit for long periods of time with low periods of reaching and standing.
