What are the responsibilities and job description for the Soccer (Futsal) Referee position at F1 Boys?
Job Summary
We're hiring a referee for a Saturday evening futsal tournament at Bohrer Park Gym. The commitment is once per week, Saturdays from 6:00–9:00 PM, for the next 5–7 weeks. All rules, a whistle, notebook, and cards are provided. You just need to show up and call a fair game.
Duties
Officiate futsal matches according to our written tournament rules. Enforce fair play, issue cards as needed, and keep the games moving. Track goals, fouls, and disciplinary actions in the provided notebook. Manage player disputes quickly and firmly. Arrive by 6:00 PM each Saturday to get kickoff the first match.
Qualifications
- Prior experience refereeing futsal, indoor soccer, or outdoor soccer is required.
- You need to be composed and decisive under pressure. Both teams will challenge every call that doesn't go their way, and you can't let that rattle you.
- A confident, authoritative presence on the court is essential.
- You must be available every Saturday evening for the full 5–7 week run.
- Referee certification is a plus but not required if you have solid hands-on experience.
