Long Term Substitute Preschool Educational Support Professional

Position:Long Term Substitute Preschool Educational Support Professional Position Type: Full Time Location: Early Childhood Development Center Reports to:: Building Principal Salary: $23.50/hour This position is not benefit eligible General Description: The Franklin Public Schools, a prek-12 district, is seeking a skilled and experienced Educational Support Professional (ESP) to join the preschool team at the Early Childhood Development Center (ECDC). The ESP will work with lead teacher in a model of service delivery offering learning, academic, social, emotional, behavioral, and physical support to children with and without disabilities in integrated classrooms. Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide positive behavior supports and interventions for children with and without disabilities.
• Work with lead teacher to provide academic, social, and emotional support and intervention
• Work collaboratively with the early childhood team of teachers and therapists
• Collect data

Qualifications:

• Associate degree or higher or ParaPro Certification
• Experience in early childhood/special education
• Experience working with children with Autism and other developmental disabilities required
• Able to take initiative and work independently
• Knowledge of early childhood development
• ABA experience preferred
• Must successfully pass Criminal Offender (CORI) background check and national fingerprinting screening (CHRI).
