Warehouse Manager

F.W. Webb, Northeast’s largest wholesale distributor of plumbing, heating, HVAC and industrial supplies is seeking a full-time Warehouse Manager for its Oakland, ME location.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for warehouse activities including receiving, stocking, and replenishment
• Assigns associates work load in their area(s).
• Knowledgeable of process flow, conveyors, computers and customer order requirements for proper picking.
• Be a problem solver for both process and system related issues. Proactive leadership skills to include working Independently.
• Maintain cleanliness in areas of supervision by developing and implementing a daily housekeeping plan.
• Maintain a high work ethic and set a good example for others to follow.
• Ensure all company guidelines and policies are adhered to and followed. Maintain the company’s safety policy daily and provide immediate feedback to any associate who might violate it.
• Step in and assist associates as needed. Monitor goals and objectives for direct reports

Qualifications:

• Strong communication skills required
• Supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution center preferred
• Ability to work under pressure and rapidly changing priorities
• Must possess a high level of customer service

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
