Service Line Estimator

Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Service Line Estimator / Technician to join our team in Cranston, RI. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering accurate estimates and technical support that align with our mission of providing outstanding service to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily quote requests for Alliance service lines, including heat transfer fluids, environmental equipment, disposal of non-hazardous and hazardous wastes, HVAC duct cleaning, and other products and services.
• Estimate costs for material, equipment, travel, and labor requirements based on review of plans, specifications, and site visits.
• Work closely with Alliance service line managers and outside sales staff from other branches in developing scopes of work and estimating costs.
• Order materials and equipment from approved vendors.
• Actively track and follow up on quotes with customers and Webb sales staff.
• Experience working with heating and chiller system piping systems.
• Provide field support to Alliance service line projects.
• Other duties required to support the Environmental Division

Qualifications

• Proficient with F.W. WEBB Accuterm and CRM.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, blueprints, schematic drawings, sketches, and schedules.
• Complete accurate project takeoffs.
• Possess a basic understanding and technical knowledge of HVAC equipment and waste disposal requirements.
• Attention to detail from proposal to sale is a must.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to concurrently prepare quotes for multiple projects.
• Create a positive F.W. Webb customer service experience from quote to project implementation and close out.
• Pertinent computer skills, including experience with Microsoft suite of office software.
• DOT medical card and be able to pass pre-employment and random drug tests.
• 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER training.
• Flexibility, including outside of normal business hours, and willingness to adjust to customer needs.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a project team, as required.
• Ability to travel to project sites within New England and beyond. Extended overnight travel (e.g. a week or two) may be required at times.
• Efficient time management to complete tasks on timelines as requested by the Alliance service line managers, GMs, and OSS/ISS of other branches to meet customer needs.

Physical Requirements

• Tasks require the ability to exert very moderate physical effort in light work.
• Some combination of climbing and balancing, including climbing ladders, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
• Some lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling of objects and materials of moderate weight pounds).
• Performance of essential functions may require exposure to adverse environmental conditions, such as dirt, dust, pollen wetness, temperature and noise extremes, hazardous materials, heights, unsafe structures, confined spaces, machinery, traffic hazards, or toxic substances. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided, as necessary.
• This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work may be dependent on client schedules. Early or late hours or weekends may be required as job duties demand.

Pay: $70, $80,000.00 per year
