What are the responsibilities and job description for the Piggy Back Truck Driver position at F.W. Webb?
F.W. Webb, New England’s largest wholesale distributor of plumbing, heating, HVAC and industrial supplies is seeking a full-time Piggy Back Truck Driver (Class B) for its Auburn, MA location.
Responsibilities:
- Delivery of product to customers and other company locations
- Preparing delivery
- Loading and unloading of material
- Operating other company equipment, i.e. forklift
- Assist in warehouse tasks as necessary
- Maintain cleanliness of company vehicle
- Perform required vehicle self inspections
- Maintain accurate records
- Drive in a safe courteous manner adhering to all traffic regulations
Qualifications:
- CDL and Class B w/ Air Brake Endorsement License required
- Must qualify for a DOT medical card
- Class 1C Hoisting license
- Experience driving a commercial vehicle with a split shift manual transmission
- Prior experience driving a Moffett preferred
- Must possess an excellent driving record
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Must possess a high level of customer service
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs consecutively

Pay: $31.00 - $36.00 per hour
