Inspire. Connect. Understand. Teach.

Are you an educator who believes children thrive through relationships, play, curiosity, and understanding?

F.U.S.E. is a nonprofit therapeutic school serving neurodivergent children in Pre-K through 2nd Grade. We are seeking passionate, creative, and collaborative teachers to join our growing team in Lexington and Norwood.

At F.U.S.E., we don't ask, "How do we change this child?" We ask, "How do we better understand this child?" Every decision we make is grounded in respect, connection, and a deep appreciation for each child's unique strengths.

Our Philosophy

F.U.S.E. is a:

  • Neuroaffirming program that celebrates neurodiversity rather than trying to change it.
  • Play-based learning environment where relationships, joy, and meaningful engagement are the foundation for growth.
  • Strength-based school that builds upon each child's interests, abilities, and natural motivations.
  • Collaborative team where teachers work alongside psychologists, speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, and families to understand the whole child.

Our classrooms maintain intentionally small student-to-teacher ratios, allowing teachers to truly know each child and provide individualized instruction throughout the day.

What You'll Do

  • Design and implement engaging, play-based thematic curriculum
  • Create individualized learning experiences that support social, emotional, communication, executive functioning, and academic growth
  • Foster joyful, inclusive classroom communities where every child feels safe, valued, and understood
  • Collaborate within a co-teaching model to provide intentional instruction
  • Partner closely with our multidisciplinary clinical team to integrate therapeutic strategies naturally throughout the school day
  • Build strong relationships with children and families
  • Participate in ongoing supervision, mentoring, and professional development

Qualifications

We are looking for educators who have:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Special Education, Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field
  • Experience teaching preschool or early elementary-aged children
  • Experience developing curriculum and planning engaging classroom instruction
  • Understanding of neurodivergent learners, particularly children with Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Appreciation for relationship-based and play-based teaching
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Enthusiasm for working within a co-teaching model
  • Passion for lifelong learning and professional growth

Why Teach at F.U.S.E.?

At F.U.S.E., we believe teachers deserve the same level of support that we provide our students.

Our educators receive ongoing coaching, mentorship, and supervision from an experienced interdisciplinary clinical team that includes:

  • Clinical Psychologists
  • Speech-Language Pathologists
  • Occupational Therapists

Rather than working in isolation, you'll collaborate daily with professionals who help deepen your understanding of each child's developmental profile while supporting your own growth as an educator.

This is an environment where teachers continue learning, feel valued, and become experts in neuroaffirming, relationship-based education.
