Role Overview

Our dynamic and growing People & Organization (HR) team is seeking a highly motivated People Operations Intern. Based in New York City, this role is ideal for someone eager to learn, this role is ideal for someone eager to learn, detail-oriented, and process-driven, with a “no task is too small” mindset. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to learn the ins and outs of a People Operations function. We are open to students who are studying Human Resources or working toward a similar degree as well as recent graduates. This is an hourly, temporary position with an initial term of 6 months and has the opportunity to extend further.

Schedule

Start January 2026

Hours: Flexible Monday-Friday (30-35 Hours/week)

This position is hybrid with an on-site base at our corporate offices in Soho, NY.

Job Responsibilities

• Support P&O Operations team with employee life-cycle processes including various onboarding and offboarding tasks.
• Assist with weekly and bi-weekly payroll processing including timesheet review
• Create and maintain appropriate digital HR files.
• Complete employment verifications and answer unemployment requests.
• Provide benefits administration support including audits and invoicing, life event monitoring, and employee questions.
• Support HRIS day to day function including password resets, homepage maintenance and basic reporting.
• Answer employee queries in a timely and efficient manner.
• Sorting P&O mail and managing labor law poster distribution.
  
  

Job Qualifications

• At least 1 year of HR professional or internship experience, or similar training through school
• Strong desire to grow in a HR capacity
• Highly motivated, self-starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A successful multi-tasker who is detail oriented and organized
• Quick comprehension of Microsoft Office, online software & tools
• No job is too big or too small attitude
