As a stamping press operator, your job duties involve operating a machine. Your responsibilities include operating machine safely, setting up the stamping press machine based on the information in a work order and performing quality checks during each production run to ensure that the stamping press is working based on setting. Full safety, quality and production trainings will be provided.

Starting rate: $16.75/hour (could vary based on knowledge/experience)
What You'll Do
- Safely and efficiently operate progressive presses (160, 400 and 1000 Ton) and transfer press (3000 Ton)
- Load and setup steel coil for production
- Maintain production logs and documentation
- Work with Quality personnel on ensuring quality is maintained during production and setup
- Quickly resolve metal stamping production issues, preserving production quotas and timelines
- Assist in repairs of presses, machines, or other equipment
- Visual inspection of products
What You'll Need
- Previous press experience is an asset but not required.
- Stamping production set-up experience is preferred.
- Understand basic written and verbal instructions to complete assigned tasks
- Lift Truck Training is an asset but not required
- Valid Overhead Crane Training is an asset but not required
