Key Responsibilities
- Oversee 2nd shift operations, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and productivity are met.
- Perform complete mechanical setups and adjustments of dip-molding equipment, including molds, racks, ovens, and airflow systems.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues to maintain equipment performance, product quality, and production efficiency.
- Conduct part measurements and inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Assist in planning schedules, assignments, and production priorities to achieve daily goals.
- Provide on-the-job training, guidance, and support to team members, including break coverage and maintaining smooth production flow.
- Enforce safety regulations and proactively communicate any hazards or concerns.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives including Safety, Quality, Delivery, Productivity, and 5S.
- Uphold company policies, procedures, and core values in daily operations.
Qualifications:
- Prior manufacturing experience required; mechanical setup and dip-molding experience preferred.
- Strong work ethic, accountability, and commitment to high-quality performance.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with ability to supervise and mentor team members.
- Competence using calipers, gauges, and basic math for measurement and quality checks.
- Experience with ERP or production software is a plus.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Physically able to lift up to 20 lbs. regularly and 50 lbs. occasionally; stand or move throughout the shift.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Effective multitasking and prioritization in a fast-paced environment.
- Good hand-eye coordination, spatial awareness, and manual dexterity.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and work environments.
- Manufacturing floor with varying temperatures, moderate noise levels, and occasional exposure to chemicals or fumes. Personal protective equipment provided to ensure a safe work environment.
