POSITION SUMMARY:
Review loan requests and associated documentation prior to approving final closing documents.
OBJECTIVES OF THIS ROLE:
- Utilize sales training skills to provide outstanding customer service.
- Ensure all required documents have been collected (financial statements, taxes, appraisals, corporate resolutions, title work with sufficient coverage, etc.) and are ready for closing. Any missing items are to be recorded in the pending/missing database.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Compare loan request to loan proposal/officer approval for accuracy
- Verify closing requirements have been fulfilled
- Exception to policy have been approved and there is appropriate documentation
- Track all exceptions
- Review documents prior to printing
- Comply and satisfactorily pass tests for bank policy and regulations that apply to position.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- One – three months’ related experience.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
- Valid Driver’s License
COMPLIANCE:
- As generally applicable to F&M Bank and commensurate with these job functions, this job role includes accountabilities for following Bank policies and related procedures, as well as regulatory requirements involving federal and state laws, regulations, and related guidance.
- Compliance with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), including accurate completion of Currency Transaction Reports (CTR) when applicable, Anti-Money Laundering Act (AML), Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC) and the USA PATRIOT Act. Adhere to Customer Identification, Customer Due Diligence and reporting of suspicious activities to the BSA Department.
