Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with residential electrical installations, diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance
- Learn and follow all local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations
- Safely use hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment
- Support troubleshooting of electrical systems including wiring, panels, outlets, switches, and fixtures
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites
- Accurately complete required paperwork and job documentation
- Provide professional and courteous service while in customers’ homes
- Participate in on-the-job training and company-sponsored education programs
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards
- High school diploma or GED required
- Enrollment in or willingness to enroll in an electrical apprenticeship or trade program preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in the electrical trade
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
- Strong work ethic, dependability, and positive attitude
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, kneel, bend, climb, and work in confined spaces for extended periods
- Comfortable working in attics, crawl spaces, and outdoors in various weather conditions
