Duties

- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process transactions swiftly and securely
- Handle cash, credit, and digital payments with precision, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed
- Provide product demos to educate customers about features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities
- Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented
- Assist with inventory management through stock replenishment and merchandising tasks
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or providing support remotely
- Support retail sales initiatives by engaging customers in upselling and cross-selling products
Skills
- Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling procedures in a retail environment
- Prior supervising experience is a plus for leadership responsibilities
- Ability to conduct product demos confidently and clearly communicate product features
- Bilingual skills to serve diverse customer bases effectively
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally both in person and over the phone
- Knowledge of retail math for accurate cash register balancing and sales calculations
- Experience in grocery store or retail sales environments preferred
