Responsibilities
- Safely operate various types of vehicles, including automobiles, to deliver products efficiently across designated routes
- Manage route driving with precision, optimizing delivery schedules and maintaining accurate delivery logs
- Assist with heavy lifting and safe lifting practices to load and unload merchandise, ensuring safety for yourself and others
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging professionally with clients during deliveries and upselling additional products or services when appropriate
- Maintain proper vehicle upkeep, cleanliness, and organization to ensure reliable performance on every trip
- Adhere to pricing guidelines and merchandising standards to present products attractively during deliveries
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members to coordinate routes, report issues, or update delivery statuses
Experience
- Prior experience in commercial driving or route driving preferred; familiarity with heavy lifting and automobile transportation is a plus
