Job Description: Accounting Clerk
Location: Houlton, ME, 04730
Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a range of bookkeeping, insurance billing, accounting, and clerical tasks related to the accounting function, including: classifying, entering, and reporting of accounting and financial information, and providing oversight and reconciliation to daily cash receipt and front desk activities.
Skills:
The successful candidate will have a fundamental working knowledge of accounting systems and principles as well as Microsoft Excel, be detail-oriented, and have the ability to multi-task. The candidate will also be able to establish and maintain interpersonal relationships that will aid in the team environment.
This position also requires the ability to problem-solve, excellent communication skills, as well as the ability to maintain strict confidentiality in all respects.
Education:
An Associate's Degree in Accounting or the equivalent level of experience and/or education is preferred.
