Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated, organized, and people-oriented Healthcare Front Desk Manager to support the operational oversight of the healthcare front desk department at Ezra Medical Center.

This role plays a key part in ensuring efficiency, patient satisfaction, and team collaboration across the following subdivisions:

  • Call Center / Front Desk
  • Providers and Clinical Staff
  • Administrative Support Teams

The ideal candidate is a proactive team player with strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills, capable of maintaining a patient-centered and professional environment.


Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Operations Support

  • Assist in the daily supervision of administrative staff, including scheduling, patient check-in/check-out, and insurance verification.
  • Coordinate vacation schedules and ensure seamless departmental coverage.
  • Monitor productivity, patient flow, and scheduling efficiency.
  • Oversee follow-up on missed and cancelled appointments.
  • Ensure staff are properly trained, supported, and compliant with operational protocols.

Patient Experience & Coordination

  • Foster a welcoming and patient-centered environment.
  • Interact with patients and providers to ensure satisfaction and resolve issues promptly.
  • Support department leadership in addressing emergencies, patient flow, and coordination needs.

Data Management & Compliance

  • Ensure the accurate collection and recording of patient demographic and insurance information in electronic systems.
  • Oversee proper follow-up with patient recalls and follow-up visits.
  • Maintain compliance with Ezra Medical Center’s standards of conduct and legal requirements.
  • Report any conduct or events that may violate compliance standards and support a culture of integrity and accountability.

Qualifications

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • College education or healthcare management coursework preferred.

Experience

  • Prior experience within a healthcare setting preferred.
  • Supervisory or administrative experience strongly desired.

Skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in computer systems and EMR software.
  • Leadership ability with a focus on teamwork and service excellence.

  • Work Location: On-site in Brooklyn, 3710 13th Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11218 (Relocation required before start date, if applicable)
