Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated, organized, and people-oriented Healthcare Front Desk Manager to support the operational oversight of the healthcare front desk department at Ezra Medical Center.
This role plays a key part in ensuring efficiency, patient satisfaction, and team collaboration across the following subdivisions:
- Call Center / Front Desk
- Providers and Clinical Staff
- Administrative Support Teams
The ideal candidate is a proactive team player with strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills, capable of maintaining a patient-centered and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Operations Support
- Assist in the daily supervision of administrative staff, including scheduling, patient check-in/check-out, and insurance verification.
- Coordinate vacation schedules and ensure seamless departmental coverage.
- Monitor productivity, patient flow, and scheduling efficiency.
- Oversee follow-up on missed and cancelled appointments.
- Ensure staff are properly trained, supported, and compliant with operational protocols.
Patient Experience & Coordination
- Foster a welcoming and patient-centered environment.
- Interact with patients and providers to ensure satisfaction and resolve issues promptly.
- Support department leadership in addressing emergencies, patient flow, and coordination needs.
Data Management & Compliance
- Ensure the accurate collection and recording of patient demographic and insurance information in electronic systems.
- Oversee proper follow-up with patient recalls and follow-up visits.
- Maintain compliance with Ezra Medical Center’s standards of conduct and legal requirements.
- Report any conduct or events that may violate compliance standards and support a culture of integrity and accountability.
Qualifications
Education
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- College education or healthcare management coursework preferred.
Experience
- Prior experience within a healthcare setting preferred.
- Supervisory or administrative experience strongly desired.
Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in computer systems and EMR software.
- Leadership ability with a focus on teamwork and service excellence.
