Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and patient-focused Registered Dental Hygienist to join a wellness-oriented dental practice specializing in holistic and biocompatible dentistry. The ideal candidate will be passionate about preventive oral healthcare, patient education, minimally invasive treatments, and holistic approaches to dental wellness.
This position is ideal for a dental professional who values patient-centered care and is interested in fluoride-free, mercury-free, and biologically conscious dental practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform professional dental cleanings using fluoride-free products and holistic dental hygiene techniques.
- Educate patients on preventive oral care, nutrition, natural remineralization, and biocompatible dental alternatives.
- Support minimally invasive periodontal therapy and the use of non-toxic dental products.
- Assist with ozone therapy, laser therapy, herbal rinses, and other integrative dental treatments, as applicable.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with practice protocols.
- Assess patients' oral health and provide personalized hygiene recommendations.
- Promote preventive care and encourage patients to maintain long-term oral health.
- Create a welcoming, calm, and supportive environment for patients.
- Collaborate with the dental team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in North Carolina.
- Strong interest in holistic, biological, and biocompatible dentistry.
- Knowledge of preventive dental hygiene, periodontal care, and oral health assessment.
- Experience with or willingness to learn ozone therapy, laser therapy, and alternative remineralization techniques.
- Understanding of the relationship between nutrition and oral health.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient education skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accurate clinical documentation.
- Commitment to patient-centered care and a minimally invasive treatment philosophy.
- Ability to work collaboratively with the dental team and provide compassionate patient care.
