Job Title: Strut Cutting Lead

Division: Off-Site Manufacturing (OSM) Reports To: OSM Production Manager FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Summary

The Strut Cutting Lead is responsible for leading employees in the strut cutting area while working alongside the crew. This position is responsible for meeting daily production goals, ensuring Unistrut material is cut accurately according to production requirements, following established quality procedures, and maintaining a safe and organized work area.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and work alongside employees in the strut cutting area.
• Assign daily work and organize employees to meet production requirements.
• Operate strut cutting equipment as needed.
• Cut Unistrut material according to drawings, cut lists, and production requirements.
• Verify measurements and cut lengths for accuracy.
• Monitor production progress and make adjustments to keep work on schedule.
• Follow established quality procedures and correct problems when identified.
• Monitor material usage and help minimize waste.
• Train and assist employees with proper cutting procedures and equipment operation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Communicate production issues, material shortages, or delays to the Production Manager.
• Follow all EZARC safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
  
  

Job Requirements

• Previous manufacturing, fabrication, or construction experience preferred.
• Ability to read measurements and follow drawings or work instructions.
• Ability to safely operate production equipment.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to lead employees while working hands-on.
• Dependable and detail-oriented.
• Must follow EZARC safety and quality procedures.
