What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Beamline or Plasma Table Operators position at EZARC?
Responsibilities Include
- Operation and maintain a CNC plasma beam line or plasma cutting table. (300 AMP Hypertherm - Voortman).
- Load and unload raw materials safely and efficiently with a forklift (pertains mostly to the plasma cutting table)
- Perform regular maintenance on the CNC plasma beam line or plasma cutting table, including cleaning, lubrication, and calibration.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all project activities (project lists, task list, deadlines)
- Work in tandem with the foreman and project manager to set priorities and drive project success.
- Select and install cutting consumables, adjust machine settings, and monitor the machining process to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet the required specifications
- Demonstrate competence in the use of tape measures, and calipers.
- Read and interpret fabrication and part drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail and quality assurance skills.
- Ability to lift and move at least 50 pounds and to be on your feet most of the day (8-10 hour shifts)
- Friendly personality and willing to work as part of a team
- Proficiency with learning modern software.
- Effectively communicate in both verbal and written English.
