Job Overview:
The Car Buyer is responsible for finding, evaluating, and purchasing vehicles for dismantling and resale. You'll be the point person for sourcing cars, negotiating fair prices, and making sure we're buying vehicles that make sense for our business.
What You'll Do:
- Locate and purchase used, wrecked, or junk vehicles from individuals, auctions, and insurance sources.
- Inspect vehicles to determine overall condition, part value, and profitability.
- Negotiate fair purchase prices and close deals efficiently.
- Handle paperwork, titles, and records for each vehicle purchased.
- Coordinate with our yard and towing team for pickups and deliveries.
- Build and maintain good relationships with sellers and repeat contacts.
- Keep up with market trends to stay competitive.
