Valet Parking Attendant for Busy Event Venue in Anaheim/Anaheim Hills Area

Job Summary:

Valet Location is located in Anaheim on the border of Yorba Linda and Anaheim Hills. Must live within 20-30 minutes drive of location.

Our valet company is looking for just a few experienced (3 years previous recent valet experience) Valet Parking Attendants. Must be able to drive manual transmission. Ability to multi-task, park efficiently/safely, and communicate well with customers. This valet location demands highly skilled Valet attendants. Must be ready to work on a consistent basis - no frequent call outs. Part Time work (1-4 shifts per week available). Closing shifts on Friday/Saturdays go until 1am in the morning. Other earlier shift slots available.

PART TIME (1-4 Shifts Per Week are available). Must be 21 years or older. Background checks as standard will be ran, clean driving record is a must. Pay is minimum wage tips. Tips for the shift are shared/pulled among employees on shift and your cut is based on hours worked that day. Typical evening shifts start at 4:30PM (set-up). Saturday/Sunday start times are typically 12:30 in the afternoon.

Our small valet team's ideal candidate will be a hard-working, available and flexible person, consistency is preferred please. This location is open 7 day's a week, including some Holiday's. Gets extra busy on Sporting Events & Big Games.

You will be trained on how to open and close as well as how to set up the parking lot with our signage and cones so that an organized valet operation can be ran. We are the guests first and last impression. This person must be able to interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Available to arrive by 4:30pm for Shift Set Up - cones and signs. 12:30pm on Sat/Sun.
• Must know how to drive STICK and know how to quickly start all makes/models so that you can park efficiently.
• Manage and regulate the parking area. Help non valet traffic through the lot so no traffic jams occur.
• Be trainable and willing to adhere specific location procedures and responsibilities.
• Verify that keys to vehicles are safely secured and locked away in Valet Podium after being parked. All parked vehicles to have valet parking ticket stub on windshield.
• Greet customers with a smile and ask for first or last name. Always turn cars OFF when delivering vehicle or while vehicle is idle.
• Any issues a customer may have to be dealt with in the proper manner, customer is always right first and contact manager to help resolve any incidents. Follow the guidelines and procedures laid out by EZ Parking CA for lost tickets, damages, etc.
• Offer help to guests in need: Opening/Closing doors, helping unload or stow away heavy items/bags/handicap walkers/rollers.
• Undertake other duties as assigned.

Experience/Education/Licenses/Certifications:

• Must be at least 21 years of age to work in this role.
• Must have at least 3 years prior experience working as valet attendant.
• A valid, current CA driver’s license is required.
• Attention to detail, ability to multitask, high valet situational awareness
• Clean Driving Record (Background Check)
• Customer Service skills
