Responsibilities
- Assemble components and parts according to specifications and blueprints.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and other equipment necessary for assembly tasks.
- Fabricate parts as needed to meet production requirements.
- Collaborate with team members on the assembly line to ensure efficient workflow.
- Conduct quality checks on assembled products to ensure they meet company standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area within the manufacturing facility.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist in training new employees on assembly processes and equipment usage.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing facility is preferred.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools is essential.
- Familiarity with forklift operation is a plus.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot basic issues.
- Ability to work effectively on an assembly line with attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights as required by the role.
