Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Coordinator (Vehicle Quality Control) to join our team in Lockport, NY. The Inventory Coordinator will be responsible for organizing the retail vehicle lot, ensuring all vehicles are gassed and ready for retail, moving vehicles as needed, and monitoring vehicle quality to identify and report any issues to the appropriate manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and maintain the retail vehicle lot to ensure an efficient and attractive presentation.
- Ensure all vehicles are gassed and prepared for customer viewing and test drives.
- Move vehicles within the lot and between locations as needed.
- Conduct regular inspections of vehicles to identify any quality issues or maintenance needs.
- Report any identified issues with vehicles to the appropriate manager for resolution.
- Work closely with the sales and service teams to ensure vehicles are in optimal condition for sale.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle locations, conditions, and any issues identified.
- Assist with inventory audits and manage inventory levels to ensure a balanced stock of vehicles.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures while moving and handling vehicles.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in inventory management, vehicle maintenance, or a related field is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with a team.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
- Basic computer skills for record-keeping and communication.
Compensation:
- Hourly pay rate of $16 to $19 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
