Cashier/Line Prep

We are hiring a cashier/line prep

Must speak English.

Duties:

· Cook menu items in collaboration with the all kitchen staff

·Prepare menu items, such as grilling meat, steaming rice, and chopping vegetables according to brand standards

· Prepare food for service such as chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, etc.

· Prepare, set-up, and stock stations with all necessary supplies

· Answer, report and follow supervisor instructions

. Take orders & Ring customers up on the register

· Clean up station and take care proper disposal of food scraps

· Adhere to company sanitation regulations and safety standards

· Complete side work for station and shift.

· Close the kitchen correctly. Follow the closing checklist for kitchen stations. Assist others in closing stations and the kitchen.

· Performs other related duties as assigned by the manager-on duty

· Sweep and mop behind the line

Additional Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Greets Guests with a smile and make guests feel welcome

. Accurately receive orders and processing payments

· Prepares and packages food and drink products

· Upselling and cross-selling when appropriate

· Have the ability to multitask and work well under pressure

· Unloads and stocks inventory items as needed

· Prompt and regular attendance on assigned shifts

· Acts with integrity and honesty, and promotes the culture of EZ Kebab

· Explain to guests about menu items

· Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely manner

· Perform other restaurant duties as assigned by Manager on duty

Qualifications and skills

· Must be at least sixteen (18) years of age

· Comfortable working in a fast paced environment

· Ability to interact in a positive and professional manner with Guests and coworkers

· Willingness to learn all areas of restaurant operations & work multiple stations

· Consistently handle product preparation

· Consistently kneel and follow proper lifting procedures

· Consistently stand during serving customers or at register

· Previous experience in customer service, food service, or other related fields recommended

Our ideal candidate is positive, works well under pressure, problem solver, solution oriented, requires minimal supervision an self-starter.

A qualified candidate must also be able to follow instructions and work well with our diverse team. Previous experience is an advantage.

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
