Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service
- Assist customers with approved check-cashing and cash service transactions
- Verify customer information and required identification or documentation
- Process transactions accurately according to company procedures
- Count, receive, and disburse cash accurately
- Maintain accurate transaction and customer records
- Operate POS, cash-handling, and transaction-processing systems
- Answer customer questions and explain service procedures
- Balance cash drawers and report discrepancies to management
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure service area
- Follow cash-handling, privacy, security, compliance, and loss-prevention procedures
- Escalate unusual or complex transaction issues to appropriate management
- Perform additional cash service and customer support duties assigned by management
