Duties
- Assist with installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in residential and commercial settings using hand tools and power tools
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate wiring and system setup
- Use testing equipment such as ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical issues and verify circuit integrity
- Work on low voltage and high voltage systems following NEC (National Electrical Code) standards for safety and compliance
- Support construction activities by framing carpentry and ensuring proper installation of electrical components within building structures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to all safety protocols on construction sites
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while learning best practices from experienced electricians
Requirements
- Prior experience or training in residential or commercial electrical work is highly desirable
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, schematics, blueprints, and construction site procedures
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately
- Basic understanding of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems in accordance with NEC standards
- Experience with testing devices such as ohmmeters for troubleshooting electrical circuits
- Strong commitment to safety protocols on construction sites and during electrical installations
