What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ophthalmic Technician position at Eyesight Med Center?
Our Ophthalmology practice is growing, and we’re looking for Ophthalmic Technicians, both Full time and Part time positions (28-36 hours per week). We are seeking an enthusiastic individuals with previous experience in an ophthalmology or optometric office to help us care for our amazing patients. As an Ophthalmic technician, you will be interacting directly with patients, and the candidate should be able to communicate in a professional manner and enjoy this patient interaction with both competency and compassion. As a single provider office, working hours are very predictable, with patient hours of Monday, Wednesday and Thursday are 8 a.m. to 4: 30p.m and Tuesday and Fridays 8a.m. to 1 p.m.
What You will do:
Greet and prepare patients for exams.
Perform basic testing and imaging such as (Visual Acuity, I.O.P , Visual Field , O.C.T., Fundus Photography and Pre Operative Testing)
Assist doctors chairside.
