Job Overview
Ophthalmic Assistant/Scribe wanted for successful, multi-physician, multi-specialty practice in the Middle Georgia area. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our ophthalmologists by accurately documenting patient encounters and ensuring smooth clinic operations. Traveling to branch locations may be necessary. We are a progressive, state-of-the-art facility dedicated to excellence in patient care. Successful candidate will be a highly motivated, team player, have excellent people skills, and the desire to provide high quality patient care. Ophthalmic technical experience preferred, but willing to train a motivated individual.
Desired skills:
Excellent detailed patient history taking/complete patient work-ups, refractometry, lensometry, tonometry, keratometry, ancillary testing, A-Scan/IOLmaster, pachymetry, topography. Certification preferred or equivalent experience and accuracy in skills.
