Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Home Health Administrative Assistant to support the daily operations of our home health agency. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to providing exceptional administrative support to clinical staff, clients, and caregivers. This role is essential in ensuring smooth scheduling, compliance with documentation requirements, and overall coordination of care services. This job will be Full time from 9a to 5 pm Monday through Friday. Job requires you to perform basic computer entry and scan documents into appropriate places in the computer system. Other tasks will be given throughout the day.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide a welcoming, positive, and confidential environment for all visitors during office hours, such as receiving guests, scheduling meetings, and responding to voicemails, emails, etc.
- Assist in providing communications (written and verbal), collaborations, and logistical support.
- To comply with all Eyes of Hope Home Health policies and procedures, as well as, Federal and State regulations.
- To be able to understand written and verbal instructions when stated in medical and non-medical terms.
- To answer multiple phone lines promptly and courteously.
- To keep the Administrator’s files in order.
- To distribute medical charts to health staff using proper procedures.
- To distribute medical supplies to health staff using proper procedures.
- To maintain a professional manner at all times.
- To keep the working area neat and orderly.
- To perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor and/or Administrator.
- Actively participate as part of the professional advisory group.
- Quality Assurance of patients files as directed by the Administrator/DON.
- Other administrative duties as assigned when the need arises.
Education and Experience
- An associate's degree in healthcare administration or a related field is a plus.
- 1-2 years of administrative experience, preferably in a healthcare or home health setting.
Skills and Competencies
- Ability to navigate complex situations, handle multiple projects, and effectively manage priorities.
- Socially competent; exhibits professionalism, conscientious work ethic, teaching ability, and accountability.

- Proficiency in Microsoft and EMR systems (Kinnser, Wellsky).

- This position primarily operates in an office environment.
- Standard working hours are 9am to 5pm.
