Job Overview
We are a small, boutique optometry practice dedicated to delivering personalized, high-quality eye care in a warm, patient-focused environment. As a close-knit team, we value collaboration, adaptability, and a passion for helping our patients see their best. We're currently looking for an Ophthalmic Assistant who is eager to grow and learn all aspects of our practice. The ideal candidate must possess excellent communication skills, be highly organized and demonstrate a strong willingness to learn and take on a variety of roles within the office. The best candidate will be personable, outgoing, professional and calm. Detail oriented, efficient, self-motivated and fast learner are a must.
As our Ophthalmic Assistant, you’ll be trained in every role within our office — from front desk reception to clinical support and optical services. This is a unique opportunity to develop a wide range of skills and become an integral part of our practice. Whether you’re checking in patients, performing pre-testing, assisting the doctor, or helping with eyewear selection, your contributions will be essential to the success of our team and the satisfaction of our patients. We are looking for a team player with a great attitude and friendly disposition.
This is a full-time position with no evenings or weekends outside of an occasional practice promoting event.
Prior ophthalmic /optometric experience is a plus, but not required - we are happy to train the right person. Salary commensurate with experience.
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
