Dispensing Optician

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Optician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping patients find the best vision solutions while providing outstanding service.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in selecting frames and lenses based on prescription, lifestyle, and preferences
• Take accurate measurements (PD, segment height, etc.)
• Adjust, repair, and dispense eyewear
• Educate patients on lens options, coatings, and proper eyewear care
• Verify prescriptions and ensure accuracy of finished eyewear
• Maintain optical displays and inventory
• Collaborate with optometrists and staff to ensure a smooth patient experience

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an optician not required
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with EHR/optical software is a plus
