Optometric Technician – Full-Time (36-40 Hours/Week)
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Optometric Technician to join our team and serve as both the Doctor’s Technician and the face of the office. In this role, you will perform a variety of essential tasks to ensure smooth patient flow and top-quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients upon arrival
- Conduct preliminary testing before the doctor’s exam
- Clean and stock exam rooms between patients
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, transcribing, and faxing
- Provide excellent customer service and support to patients
Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience with office equipment (fax machines, printers, etc.)
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive in solving issues
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Strong time-management skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- A positive, customer-service-focused attitude
