What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk/Optometric Assistant position at EyeCare Partners?
Private Optometric Practice is looking for a part-time optometric assistant. Our ideal candidate would be reliable, outgoing, flexible, have attention to detail, and enjoy working with the public. This opening is for full time (4 days/week) and some Saturdays.
Duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Answering phones
- Scheduling exams
- Computer data entry
- Checking and understanding insurance eligibility
- Understand basic glasses and contact lens information
- Prepping patients for eye exams
Our optometric team is a hard working, fast paced, and fun group that enjoys assisting our patients. We want to add a team member who exhibits a patient first mindset and works well with others. Experience in optometry is preferred, but not required. We will train the right candidate. Must be able to work Saturdays.
