What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Care Assistant position at Eyecare Associates?
Primary Duties:
- Preliminary testing with sophisticated automated instruments
- Data Entry into computerized health records
- Prepare and sanitize exam rooms
- Instruct patients on insertion and removal of contact lenses
- Basic administration duties including use of standard office equipment
Skills and qualifications:
- Effectively communicate procedures and information using high standard of grammatical proficiency
- Knowledgeable with Windows software and ability to learn additional software
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Highly adaptable in a fast paced and constantly changing medical environment
- Knowledge or experience in a medical setting preferred, but not required
