Optician/Technician

• Optician Position Requirements:
• Assist customers in selecting the most suitable eyewear based on their prescription, lifestyle, and fashion preferences.
• Take precise measurements of customers' facial and eye features to ensure accurate fitting of eyeglasses or contact lenses.
• Educate customers on proper eyewear maintenance, lens options, and advancements in optical technology.
• Perform repairs and adjustments on eyeglasses to ensure optimal fit and comfort for customers.
• Keep accurate and organized records of customers' prescriptions, orders, and payments.
• Collaborate with the optometrist to ensure seamless patient care and appropriate follow-up.
• Stay updated on industry trends, advances in eyewear technology, and new product offerings.
• Maintain a clean and well-organized optical dispensary, ensuring a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere.
• Cross train as a receptionist
• Perform all other duties as assigned

Summary

As an Optician, you will be essential in delivering high-quality optical care and retail services within our clinic. Reporting to the clinic Optical Manager, you will utilize your core skills in retail sales, Optometric terminology, and optical experience to manage day-to-day operations effectively. Your premium knowledge in eye care and HIPAA compliance will ensure patient safety and satisfaction. Furthermore, your relevant skills in EPM systems and medical billing will streamline processes, enhancing overall clinic efficiency. Previous eye clinic experience preferred however we will train the the right individual. EyeCare Assoicates of Wyoming, P.C.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 30 per week
