We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Office Manager to join our team. Key Responsibilities:
1. Practice Management:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the ophthalmology practice.
- Develop and implement office policies and procedures to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Manage scheduling, patient flow, and staff assignments to optimize efficiency and facilitation in a medical setting.
- Coordinate with medical billing and coding staff to ensure accurate billing and reimbursement.
2. Staff Supervision and Training:
- Recruit, train, and supervise office staff, including front desk receptionists, medical assistants, and administrative personnel.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to staff members.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork and professional growth.
3. Patient Experience:
- Ensure exceptional patient care by addressing patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and courteous manner.
- Maintain high standards of service excellence and professionalism throughout the patient experience.

4. Financial Management:
- Monitor and manage office expenses, including supplies, equipment, and overhead costs.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business management, or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in a healthcare management role, preferably in an ophthalmology or optometry practice.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in medical office software and electronic health records (EHR) systems.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Practice Manager to join our team.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ophthalmology and experience with Lasik procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the practice
- Manage staff and ensure high-quality patient care

- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field or exquvalent
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in ophthalmology practice management
- Experience with Lasik, Cataracts or surgical procedures.
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
Clinical Practice and Leadership: The Clinic Manager under the direction of the CEO and physicians, is responsible for leading daily functions in an Clinic and Ambulatory setting. The position provides direction and leadership to ensure a high level of patient care within an efficient cost structure while working collaboratively with Physicians and staff. Principal responsibilities include operations, managing staff and resources and maintaining compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulations. The position facilitates communication, coordination and collaboration regarding planning and provision of high-quality, cost-effective care. The Clinic Manager is a resource within the clinic and to the organization.

- Lead the day-today operation and coordination of patient care services
- Lead the clinic to improve patient, physician, and staff satisfaction
- Communicate effectively with Physicians, staff and management
- Work in clinic as necessary to fill in for illness or high volume days
- Identify opportunities to improve quality, safety, effectiveness and efficiency
- Identify indicators to measure, evaluate and improve care
- Develop strong collaborative relationships between various physicians, staff and other leadership
- Ensure compliance with applicable ambulatory service standards and policies
- Work with leadership on maintaining as well as ongoing revision of policies and procedures
- Knowledge of ophthalmology/retina terminology and procedures
- Assist clinical trainer in developing successful training plans for technicians
- Works with Administration on strategic growth of the clinic/organization
- Handle and resolve patient complaints
- Attend meetings as required
- Timely response to emails and phone calls
Human Resources:
- Direct and evaluate the clinic’s workforce in terms of overall staffing and scheduling
- Recruit staff members who are in alignment with SVA values, service excellence and quality patient care
- Develop staffing models in conjunction with specialty and patient care needs
- Monitoring of staff competencies and completion of performance reviews
- Provide direction and corrective action to direct reports
- Review and approve timesheets and payroll
Resource Management:
- Work with Administration/Accounting with developing operating and capital budgets, volume projections, revenue and expense estimates; Monitor budget projections
- Monitor timely, accurate completion of charts and submission of coding to the central billing office (CBO)
- Respond timely to CBO queries for chart completion and timely submission of claims
- Ensure ordering\inventory and maintaining of adequate drugs, medical and other supplies
- Delegate or oversee repairs and cleaning of medical equipment
Facility Management:
- Provide oversight of the clinic building, submit maintenance requests and ensure completion of such requests
- Coordinate cleaning services to ensure the cleanliness of clinic space
- Ensure clinic building is secure and safe for patients and staff
- Ensure telephones are functioning
- Work with Administration on disaster management procedures
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Management or other related health field preferred
- JCAHPO Certification preferred
- Minimum of two years of healthcare supervisory/management position
- Excellent interpersonal communication, problem solving and conflict resolution
- Ability to train, motivate and supervise staff
- Ability to address and manage conflict in a direct and professional manner
- Ability to build collaborative relationship
