We provide hands-on training to teach you everything you need to know to succeed in the role, including working directly with patients, performing preliminary testing, documenting patient information, and assisting our doctors throughout the patient visit.
Required Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:30am-5:30pm and Friday 8am-3:30pm

Clinical Technician job responsibilities include:
- Greet patients and escort them through the pre-testing process in a friendly and professional manner
- Obtain and document accurate patient history, chief complaint, medications, and relevant health information
- Perform pre-testing
- Assist with contact lens trainings and education
- Prepare exam rooms, sanitize equipment, and maintain clinical cleanliness standards
- Support the provider during clinic flow by communicating patient needs and ensuring efficient room turnover
- Special testing (Visual Fields, OCT, ERG etc.)
- Educate patients on basic eye health topics, procedures, and follow-up instructions
- Accurately enter clinical information into the EHR system
- Contact lens ordering
- Maintain professionalism and patient confidentiality (HIPAA compliance) at all times
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Experience as a medical assistant, ophthalmic/optometric technician, or clinical assistant preferred
- Strong customer service skills and comfort working directly with patients
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy clinic environment
- Detail-oriented with strong documentation accuracy
- Comfortable using computers, EHR systems, and diagnostic equipment
- Strong communication skills and the ability to educate patients in a clear and friendly way
- Dependable attendance and punctuality are a must
- Comfortable working with multiple patients and tasks throughout the day
Salary : $18 - $21
