The ideal candidate is patient-focused, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in accuracy, efficiency, and professionalism.Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:30am-5:30pm and Friday 8am-3:30pm Benefits:MedicalVisionDentalPersonal time off401kPaid holidaysNo weekendsContinuing EducationPay starts $16 DOE ResponsibilitiesClinical Technician job responsibilities include:Greet patients and escort them through the pre-testing process in a friendly and professional mannerObtain and document accurate patient history, chief complaint, medications, and relevant health informationPerform pre-testingAssist with contact lens trainings and educationPrepare exam rooms, sanitize equipment, and maintain clinical cleanliness standardsSupport the provider during clinic flow by communicating patient needs and ensuring efficient room turnoverSpecial testing (Visual Fields, OCT, ERG etc.) Educate patients on basic eye health topics, procedures, and follow-up instructionsAccurately enter clinical information into the EHR systemContact lens ordering Maintain professionalism and patient confidentiality (HIPAA compliance) at all timesRequired SkillsClinical Technician required skills & qualifications include:High school diploma or equivalent (required) Experience as a medical assistant, ophthalmic/optometric technician, or clinical assistant preferred Strong customer service skills and comfort working directly with patientsAbility to multitask and stay organized in a busy clinic environmentDetail-oriented with strong documentation accuracyComfortable using computers, EHR systems, and diagnostic equipmentStrong communication skills and the ability to educate patients in a clear and friendly wayDependable attendance and punctuality are a mustComfortable working with multiple patients and tasks throughout the day
