Eye Site is a growing, patient-centered private optometry practice seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Optometric Technician / Clinical Assistant to support our doctor and clinical flow. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys patient interaction, learning clinical skills, and working in a calm, organized environment. ScheduleMonday, Tuesday, Thursday, FridayNo WednesdaysConsistent daytime hours - 9:30am to 6:30pm (we're usually done by 6pm)An hour lunchOpportunity to expand hours in the future ResponsibilitiesPerform pre-testing (autorefraction, tonometry, imaging, etc.)Obtain patient history and chief complaintAssist with exam flow and room turnoverScribe or enter exam data into EHR (training provided)Assist with contact lens training and patient educationPrepare patients for the doctor and post-exam instructionsMaintain clean and organized exam roomsSupport special exam days (including veterans disability exams) QualificationsPrior experience as an optometric technician preferred but not requiredWillingness to learn and take directionStrong attention to detail and organizationProfessional, calm, and patient-focused demeanorA positive attitudeComfortable using computers and electronic health recordsAbility to multitask in a clinical setting What We OfferSupportive, family-oriented private practiceOn-the-job training and skill development.Predictable scheduleOpportunity to grow with the practiceCompetitive hourly pay based on experience
