Experienced Optical Manager – Luxury Eyewear & Patient Care | Scarsdale, NY
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Optical Manager to join our team at our brand-new flagship location in Scarsdale. This is a unique opportunity to work in a beautifully designed, modern office that delivers an elevated experience in eye care and eyewear.
Our practice is centered around luxury service, cutting-edge technology, and exceptional patient care. We offer an exclusive selection of premium eyewear along with advanced services, including a dedicated dry eye spa and myopia control treatments. Every detail of our space and workflow is designed to support both our patients and our team.
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver a high-end, personalized eyewear experience for patients
- Manage a team of 10 employees
- Manage day-to-day operations of the optical department
- Monitor sales goals and implement strategies to improve optical sales performance
- Supervise, train and motivate optical staff to deliver outstanding customer service
- Manage scheduling, staff performance and work flow efficiencies
- Educate patients on premium products and advanced optical solutions
- Maintain a polished and professional showroom environment
What We’re Looking For:
- Experienced optical manager (licensed preferred, but not required depending on experience)
- Ability to lead, coach and motivate an optical team
- Strong sales ability with a focus on luxury or premium products
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle patient concerns with empathy and professionalism
- A passion for fashion, eyewear, and patient care
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality
