Ophthalmic Technician and scribe (Ophthalmology)
About us
Eye MD - established ophthalmology practice in Bethlehem, GA. ASC and Optical on site. Focus on cataract surgery and comprehensive ophthalmology
Must have 1 year previous experience in ophthalmology or optometry.
Ophthalmic Technician (include but not limited to):
-Escort patients to exam rooms
-Take medical history
-Eye work up and testing (VA, AR, MR, IOP, OCT, fundus photos, VF testing, topography)
-Clean and stock patient rooms
-Proficient with EMR
-Call patient with results and/or scheduling
-scribe, charting
opportunity to learn to assist with surgery in the operating room if desired
